Following is a summary of the purification process used by Heartland Bottling:
Step 1: ACTIVATED CARBON
Water passes through an activated carbon bed to assure neutral aroma and flavor.
Step 2: REVERSE OSMOSIS
The water is then highly purified by reverse osmosis, removing both chemical biological
contaminants.
Step 3: MIXED ION BEDS
Next, the water passes through mixed ion beds removing any remaining trace minerals.
Step 4: ULTRA VIOLET LIGHT
Exposure to ultra violet light sterilizes and maintains biological purity.
Step 5: SUB-MICRON FILTRATION
Finally, the water is sib-micron filtered eliminating any remaining particles larger than 0.2
microns in size. |
